BRAINY BUNCH

R12 children are the brainy bunch and we were lucky to learn more about how our brains work. In the last week of term 2 we had the Life Education bus (Richard and Harold the Giraffe) teaching us about the brain in an interactive and fun way.
We also had the inflatable brain (see photos) in the hall and we got to hold a real brain if we wanted to!
On Friday we had Judy (Sinead's Mum) come and talk to us about the brain, she brought a client along who had a stroke years ago and had to retrain his brain. The children enjoyed asking him questions.
