Speech Competition
Well done to Evelyn, Jake, Samuel and Sophie who were chosen to go to the team speech competition from room 12. Sophie then went through to the school wide competition and managed to get 3rd which was a brilliant result considering she was ill. You should all be proud of yourselves for doing so well!

PYJAMA DAY
What a wonderful day we had on Friday in our PJs and onesies. Thank you to Jake Owen who took the photos because the children wanted me in the photo. Check out the range of sleepwear worn by the students in room 12 and the silly faces we can pull.

BRAINY BUNCH
R12 children are the brainy bunch and we were lucky to learn more about how our brains work. In the last week of term 2 we had the Life Education bus (Richard and Harold the Giraffe) teaching us about the brain in an interactive and fun way.
We also had the inflatable brain (see photos) in the hall and we got to hold a real brain if we wanted to!
On Friday we had Judy (Sinead's Mum) come and talk to us about the brain, she brought a client along who had a stroke years ago and had to retrain his brain. The children enjoyed asking him questions.
